Saudi Aramco Projects

 

1-Shayabh GOSP4

Shayabh is located in the eastern part of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. MAS role was to design the new IDAS system for GOSP-4 Facility.

 

2-Khurais

Task: Detail Design for IDAS

Status:Completed

Khurais is located in the Central part of Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia. MAS designed the IDAS system for the Central Processing Facilities (CPF).

 

3-Nuayyim

Task:  FSD for Security Systems

Nuayyim located in the Central part of Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia. MAS designed the IDAS system for the facilities.

 

 

 

4-Rastunara Refinery Tank Farm

Status: Completed

Ras Tanura Refinery is located in the Eastern part of Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia. The refinery has expanded it tank farm by reclaiming the sea. MAS designed the IDAS system for their new extended Tank Farm.

 

5-Manifa

Task: Detail Design for Manifa Security Systems

Status:On going

Manifa Refinery is located in the Eastern part of Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia. The project involves the development of the Manifa oil field and the construction and expansion of new processing infrastructure to handle an additional 900,000bpd of Arabian heavy crude. There will also be production of sour gas, gas condensate (condensate production is estimated at 50,000bpd) and water.

 

MAS is designing the IDAS, LRDAS, SACS and IP based CCTV System for the facilities.

 

6-AFK (Abu Hadriyah, Fadhili and Khursaniyah)

Task: FSD for CCTV

Contract Value: SAR 140,470.00

Status:  Completed

MAS developed CCTV System for the onshore Abu Hadriyah, Fadhili and Khursaniyah (AFK) oil fields in the Eastern Province.

 

7-Wasit Gas Plant

Task: FSD for CCTV

Contract Value:  SAR 597,902.00

Status:  Completed

The Wasit gas development programme will provide for the production and processing of up to 2.5 billion cubic feet per day of gas from the Arabiyah and Hasbah offshore non-associated gas fields. Supplies from this gas plant would be used for power and industry. Wasit along with Khursaniyah and Karan gas plants is expected to help Saudi Arabia to process its targeted production increase of raw gas to 15.5 billion cfd by 2015 from 10.2 billion cfd.

MAS designed the CCTV system for monitoring purposes for new Gas Plant.

 

8-North Park Office Complex

Task:Detail design for ANPR and CCTV

The North park office complex has new access gates to their facility. ANPR and CCTV System has been designed for the security gates.

 

9-Shedgum GOSP4

 

Task:   FSD for SACS

Contract Value:  SAR 100,000.00

Status: Completed

Shedgum GOSP-4 is located in the Southern part of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The SACS system & the guard house there is outdated & needs to be upgraded.

MAS designed the new SACS system for the new guard house in the facility.

 

 

10- Arabiyah and Hasbah Offshore Plant

Task:FSD for CCTV

Status:Completed

Arabiyah and Hasbah offshore non-associated gas plant would be used for power and industry. MAS has designed the CCTV system for monitoring purposes.

 

11-Shayabh GOSP4-Extension

Task: FSD for IDAS

Status:    On going

Shaybah is located in the Southern part of Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia. The existing plant has increased it production capacity which required the expansion of the existing area. MAS role is to design the expansion of IDAS system for the expansion & to integrate with the existing system.

 

12-Shaybah GOSP-1 and GOSP-3

Shaybah is located in the Southern part of Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia. The task is to prepare to FSD for complete IDAS solution for Shaybah GOSP-1 and GOSP-3 facility perimeter.

1.     Ras Az Zawr Port

2.     Ras Az Zawr Port

Task:FSD for IDAS

Contract Value: SAR 185,000.00

Status: Completed

The Ras Az Zawr site comprises a plot of land 90km north of Jubail on the coast of the Arabian gulf. The proximity of Ras Az Zawr to the Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province oil and gas production and shipment facilities means that there is an extensive network of supply pipelines and storage facilities to draw upon should the need arise.

A segment of the site is proposed to be used for the construction of the integrated chemical and fertilizer facility and related infrastructure for the Phosphate Project and for the Construction of the alumina refinery and aluminum smelter and related infrastructure for the Aluminum Project.

As a site for the Phosphate Project, the phosphate concentrate will be transported by rail from the Al Jalamid beneficiation plant to Ras Az Zawr for processing.

MAS role is to prepare the FSD for the IDAS system for the facility.

 

3.     KFCA-Survillance System

Client:  King Fahad Causeway Authority (KFCA)

Task: FSD for CCTV, Underwater Intrusion Detection, ANPR

Contract Value: SAR 294,737.00

Status: Completed

 

The King Fahd Causeway is a causeway connecting Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. The idea of constructing the causeway was based on improving the links and bonds between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. The KFCA is planning to upgrade the existing security system. The system consists of C.C.TV, Intrusion underwater & LPRS system.

MAS prepared the Function specifications documents for the new IDAS system for the causeway.

 

4.     KFCA-Development of Islands

Task:  Study to Construct of Two New Islands at Saudi and Bahraini Sides at King Fahd Causeway

Contract Value: SAR 2,415,625.00

5.     KAUST

Client:   King Abdullah University Of Science & Technology

Task:  FSD and Detail design for Security Systems

Contract Value:    SAR. 7,183,373.00

Status:  Completed

King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST), a state of the art post-graduate university and research center, it is constructed in Thuwal area, 90 kilometers north of Jeddah. The university will have approximately 2000 graduate level students in addition to the faculty and research scientists.

Worley parson was assigned to prepare the FSD and detail design for In-Building Security Access Control Systems, integrated IP-based Biometric fingerprint Readers and/or card readers, fingerprint and proximity card readers controllers, Snap Shot Cameras, Magnetic Locks door holders and Door Contacts with building fire alarm system interface in case of fire alarm and/or emergency. There are Card Management System and ID Badging Systems for visitors, students and/or staff at Security Headquarters Building, Visitor Center near to the Main Gate and the Delivery Gate.

 

6.     KAUST Research Park New Expansion

Status: Completed

MAS has been assigned to prepare the FSD for new expansion of the KAUST research park. This includes the IP- CCTV cameras along the road of Research Park & SACS system for the new administration buildings. This system shall be integrated with the existing system at KAUST.

 

7.     Jubail Export Refinery (JER)

Authority: Saudi Aramco Total Oil Refinery (SATORP)

Task:    Detail Design for Security Systems

Contract Value:  SAR 2,742,000.00

Status: Completed

The JER Project represents the design, construction, commissioning and operations of a grass roots refinery capable of processing 400,000 Barrels per Stream Day (BPSD) of Arabian heavy crude oil to produce gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, etc. The JER will be located in Saudi Arabia on the west coast of the Arabian Gulf, within Jubail Industrial City 2. The project is being implemented by the Saudi Aramco TOTAL Refining and Petrochemical

Company (SATORP), a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and TOTAL.

Worley parson was assigned to prepare the Detail Design for the facility. This includes IDAS and SACS.

 

8.     NWC

Client:   National Water Company

Task:  Security Vulnerability Assessment Study (SVA) and FSD

Contract Value:   SAR. 980,000.00

Status: Completed

NWC is Semi-government Company responsible to supply the whole kingdom with treated water for personnel use.  The company has approximately 11 site between big sites such as those for treatment and big tank storage sites and small ones such those for pumping the water.

MAS was asked to do a study for Security Vulnerability (SVA) on the company assets in order to determine what level of security is required to protect these assets, the security equipment type and the estimated quantity of these equipment. Then, to do Functional System Document (FSD) or FEED so the company can release this for tenders.
